Dear Friends/Colleagues,
The chords in all these songs are some taken from the internet and some given by my musician friends and some listened and written down by me. For those taken from the internet, I didn’t just copy and paste but took the time to check that the chords are useable (and changed them if they aren’t) and that there’s the correct number of bars etc. Please bear in mind that I am really NOT a musician and for those you see here that have simple chords, they are just very basic chords for a guide line thingy. Feel free to ‘modify’ to your liking. For those that have the more ‘profound’ chords like those ‘11s’, ‘maj-something-flat-something’ thingy chords are mostly from my musician friends and would mostly be quite accurate (of course, if its not exactly the same as the original, it might be because they just felt that that particular chord sounded nicer to their ears and not because they are lousy lar)
The reason why I made this page of charts is because very often now, I have to suddenly work with musicians which I have never worked with before and quite a number of times, our repertoires aren’t that similar and when dealing with requests from audiences, it can be quite frustrating and stressful. So in times of emergencies or last minute pairings, at least they can just go online and access this and use it as a rough guide line. Please also note that the ‘bpm-s’ won’t really be the same as the original versions but more to how I like the speed of that particular song to be when I am doing it live. Also, the sequence of the song might not be the same as original always because sometimes the song is too short and so I will extend it a little. So on this note, I hope that this page will be at least of a little bit help to whoever uses it and I thank you for working with me! :>
